its confluence with Speirs Creek Will remain closed below this point until July 1 Water may be discolored because of some run off Stream will be soaked with rainbow catrhahles for Ihe opener lmproyed campgrounds are ava lable near the stream Carter Creek: This stream will be slocked with rambow catchables in the Deep Creek area as snon as the road is passable This may not be before the opener so check on the conditions before traveling lo upper farter Creek This stream below Highway 44 is closed through June W Crouse Reservoir: Fishing is ex pected to be good for rainbow trout There are no improved campgrounds in the area and most of the land is private, so take extra care in keeping the area free of litter Future fishing privileges depend on it Currant Creek: This stream opens July 1 Fishing is expected to be good for 12" cutthroat and brown trout as well as some catchable rainbow It is expected to have a high run off Improved access into the area will draw large crowds There are limited campgrounds in the area Duchesne River: This river is designed as a wild fish stream and receives no catchable fish Brown, cutthroat and whitefish can he caught in the Duchesne River Most of the area around this stream is private land so please respect it Fast Park Reservoir: This reservoir is located along the Red Cloud Loop road and is accessible by paved road except for the last mile Improved campgrounds are available and expect pan sized rainbow with an added treat of some nice brook trout Weather permitting, this reservoir will be stocked prior to the opening weekend Flaming Gorge Reservoir: This year round water presently holds the world record for the largest brown trout caught Fishing can be spotty, however, many large brown and lake truut have been taken during the been spring months Fishing has quiie slow for the rainbow trout Several improved campgrounds are available to the angler as well as five boat ramps on the Utah side of the reservoir A large crowd is expected on Memorial Day as well as the opener on June 1 Green River: This stream offers a variety of entertainment Float trips are growing more popular every year and fishing for rainbow catchables can provide a good angling are also comexperience Cutthroat mon The modification of the penstock on the Flaming Gorge Dam will enhance the fishery as well as make the float trip more enjoyable A seven mile trail between the dam and Little Hole allows for easy fool access along the stream Large rainbow are found in Ihe lower stretches of the Green River between Little Hole and Brown s Park Be sure
