Stevens Funeral Rites Held For Blanche Waite Angus George Stevens, of 55 East North, Clearfield, died on Tuesday at the Davis North Medical Center in Lay-toHe was 71 years of age. MR. STEVENS Victor Smith Waite. A vocal duet, In The Garden, by Mrs. Maxine S. Smedley and Dick Egan, accompanied by A Lifes Mrs. Burton. Sketch was given by a grandson, Larry D. Waite; speaker was Merlyn Fowler, a speaker was Bishop Sheldon F. Child; and President C. Russell Hansen. A vocal duet, That Wonderful Mother of Mine, by Mrs. Maxine S. Smedley and Dick Egan and the benedicson-in-la- tion was given by Ordith W. Bourgeous. The grave in the Syracuse Cemetery was dedicated by a son, Gary A. Waite. FLOWERS were cared for by the Syracuse Second Ward Relief Society. Pallbearers were Larry D. Waite, Rick Waite, Layne Waite, Ray Pearson, Dean Mrs. Blanche Smith Waite, 73 years of age of 2517 South 2000 West, Syracuse, died on Tuesday morning, Oct. 11, Smith, Reid Fowler, Richard Valantine, David Waite and Vaun Waite, vsb Medical Center in Layton. Services 1977 at the Davis North MRS. WAITE was born August 1, 1904 in Farmington. She was the daughter of Abel and Sophia Elizabeth Giles Smith. She married Victor Waite on Nov. 19, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Waite resided in Farmington until her marriage when she moved to Syracuse and has made her home here since. She was an active member of the Syracuse Second LDS Ward, had served in the MIA Stake Board, had been junior Sunday School coordinator, and a Relief Society visiting teacher, had been a teacher in the Primary, Sunday School, MIA and Relief Society. She and her husband served a LDS Mission to Florida in 1969 and 1970. SHE IS survived by her husband; three sons and two Held For Silvia Dixon Mrs. Sylvia Matilda Youngberg Olson Dixon, 75, of 2372 East Oakridge Drive, Layton, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1977 in the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden after a heart attack. SHE WAS bom Dec. 25, 1902 Fort Bridger, Wyo., the daughter of Carl G. and Augusta E. Olerd Youngberg. She married Grava Vedel Olson. He died in 1933. She married Thomas Hal Dixon. He died in 1969. in Victor Smith Waite, Fruit Heights; Golden J. Waite, Gary A. Waite and Mrs. Merlyn (Norma) Fowler, all of Syracuse; and Mrs. Richard (Nelda) Valan-tinRiverside, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. At the funeral services that were held in the Syracuse Second LDS Ward Chapel at MRS. DIXON was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a Relief Society visiting teacher for many years. She was a member of the Layton Third Ward. with Bishop Sheldon F. Child officiating, a son, Golden J. Blonquist, Ogden; Mrs. Elaine O. Welch, Murray; 23 ALSO 18 was bom March 12, 1906 in Alpine, Utah. He was the son of George Henry and Clara M. Whitby Stevens. He married Lona Wiseman in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 20, He was president of the Stevens Canning Company and had also engaged in ranching. He had served as president of the Utah Canners Association and also the Rocky Mountain Canners AsMR. STEVENS had served as a Clearfield City Council- man and was also an active member of the Clearfield Kiwanis Club and had served as its president. He was a member of the Ogden Golf and Country Club and the Weber Club. He had lived in West Bountiful and had made Clearfield his home for the past 40 years. He received his education in the schools of Davis County. An active member of the Clearfield Third LDS Ward, he had served in the MIA, while living in West Bountiful and held the position of a Seventy in the Clearfield Third Ward. SURVIVING is his widow of Clearfield; two sons and three daughters, William A. Stevens, Clearfield; Donald W. Stevens, Roy; Miss Stevens, Salt Lake R. City; Mrs. Gustav (Marilyn) Horn, Centerville; and Mire. Spencer R. (Janet) 14 Child, Layton; grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Also surviving are his mother of Logan; one brother and two sisters, Robert E. Stevens, Roy; Mrs. Austin E. (Alta) Fife, Logan; and Mrs. Dorothy Arista (Loretta) Martin, Vallejo, Calif. THE FUNERAL services were held on Friday morning at 11 a.m. in the Clearfield Third LDS Ward, with Bishop Van Wagenen officiating. Organ prelude and postlude music was played by Mary Blood; the family prayer was given by Gus Horn; invocation by Harold Weatherston; a vocal quartet composed of John Beutler, Eldon Barlow, John Carter and Phil Blood, grandchildren Mrs. William (Gladys) Moore, both of Salt Gustafson, surviving are five brothers and two sisters; Karl J. Youngberg, Arnold E. Youngberg, both of Ogden; Woodruff Youngberg, Provo; Crystal W. Youngberg, Logan; Mrs. George (Pearl) Eagle sociation. Lake City; Leslie Youngberg, Calif. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Layton Third Ward Chapel.
