By ROSELYN KIRK crisis relocation plan for civil defense, which will indicate where Davis County residents should go in the event of a nuclear attack, was presented to Davis County department heads on WedA nesday. JOHN ZIPPRO, director of the Davis County Civil Defense organization, said the plan will be filed until an emergency occurs and then specific directions for crisis relocation will be published in local newspapers. to general According guidelines of the plan, North Davis residents will be relocated in Cache County while South Davis residents will be sent to Box Elder County. OFFICIALS from the state civil defense organization said that detection devices provided through satellites and other sources will give some warning time prior to nuclear attack. Paul Ross, training and education expert from the state office, said that about six hours will be needed to give notice to get ready to relocate. Most people will have left the area within 30 hours, he said. Experts predict that about 20 percent of the residents will not choose to relocate. This center is administered by Mr. Zippro. He said, in the event of disaster, plans have been written up and the center is aware how the plan will all fit together.
