Show f 4 -- WEEKLY REFLEX-DAV- IS NEWS JOURNAL, APRIL 15, 1976 OesBim Recently the Davis Sweep ALL SCHOOLS in Davis County were represented by several students who had prepared themselves the past several weeks in learning the facts from the Old Testament. A round robin tournament was then held to determine which seminary would be able to out-dthe others. Tenth graders met at Woods Cross Seminary, 11th at Bountiful High and 12th grade at Davis, with 9th grade at Clearfield coach. Students who participated on the Seminary Bowl competition from the Clearfield High School Seminary and were placed on the All Star team o principal Seminary announced that Clearfield took first place in all three high school grade levels, with the team from North Davis (Clearfield South Seminary) taking second place in the junior high division. North Layton took first place honors in the ninth grade competition, held at the Clearfield Seminary. The following students represented Clearfield on the three winning teams : AUXILIARY INSTALLED The spring installation luncheon of the Davis County Medical Auxiliary was held at the home of Mrs. Gene Smith. Mrs. Helen Fiet, state auxiliary president, installed the new officers and a presentation was given by the LDS Social Services Department. Mr. Adams is proud of these students taking first place and reported that it was an exciting, interesting and a great learning experience for all Debbie Allison. Dean Anderson, Debi Stuart, Kuni Quesada, Debbie Bateman, Kevin Bereece, Glenn Stauffer and Brent Page as student Seminary District held its annual seminary bowl contest. Dm IS Dr. and Mrs. David Warden seven of the former girls who had reigned as queens were there for the event, and it was a nice reunion for all to be and three children, David, Jonathan and Marilyn recently spent a few days in San Francisco, Calif, where Dr. Warden attended a convention. They also visited the Oakland LDS Temple and spent time sightseeing in that , area. After returning Mrs. Warden took two of their children, Paul and Joseph to Bluefield, West Virginia by plane to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. McNabb. Mrs. Warden had the experience of attending the annual Little Miss Bluefield Pageant 1976 while there. It was a fun occasion as Mrs. Warden was crowned Miss Little Bluefield in 1956 and throughout the U.S. to be in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Godfrey and family of Clarkston were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Godfrey and family. together again. Dunn of Salt Lake City, and the other by the North Davis Soroptimist of especially grateful to the people who have given so freely of their time to keep the gallery open during regular hours: Thora Hough, Carol Collett, Vera Walker, Nora Miller, Mina Flint, EloVea Borski and Robert Waite.
