Myst of all I miss Kimiko who came in to iron and sew for us. She made my sister and I beautiful kimonos and taught us to sing and dance in Japanese. She took us to visit the Japanese shrine at Meiji Park and introduced us to many Japanese foods and customs. My favorite was a soup called The Japanese hav$ many holimost colordays. One ,of the ful and prettiest- - of these is the All the boys 7, 3, 3 festival. and gills of that age dress op in their national costumes and to visit the shrines. Along the streets are many venders selling candy and toys wrapped in beautifully colored- paper.-Thiis like a little Christmas for the Japanese children as their parents buy them something from every stand.
