Stephens, 80, who died Saturday morning at the home of a daughter, Mis. Lynn Skill ieorn, 364 West Liberty Layton. Born October 2(1, 1878, in Kaysville, Mrs. Stephens was a daughter of John W. and Ann Sandall Lavender. She married Frederick J. Stephens He died July 30, 1956. She was a lifelong resident of Layton and was a member of the Lajton Fourth Ward. Survivors include two sons and five daughters: Leland Stephens, Ogden ; Mervin Stephens, Kaysville; Mrs. H. D. (Stella) Peterson, Lehi; Mrs. Alden (Lucile) Hardy, Bountiful; Mrs. Philip (Hazel) Robins, Kaysville; Mrs. Nelson (Dorothy) Poulter, Kanesville; and Mrs. Lynn (Mildred) Skillicorn, Layton; 26 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Annie Hennefer, Lay ton.
