The hearth is the heart of this home and Glenn and Evelyn and their two young daughters Kathy and Melody enjoy crisp cold weather when an open fire adds comfort and a feeling of warm security. Even the rock work was done largely by Glenn with his brother's help. A typical happy housewife and mother is Evelyn. She is a beautiful seamstress, makes nearly all of her childiens clothes and the lovely drapes in her home are, too, a product of her handiwork. She loves to create good things to eat, too, in her kitchen. With the holidays just e ahead, she said one of her recipes is for a bread that is as gay as the season.
