Show Page Four - The Pyramid - December 18, 2003 Maurine Mower to celebrate 90 th birthday FAIRVIE- W- A 90th for celebration birthday Maurine Kiesel Mower will take place Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at the Fairview Senior Citizen Center, 160 North 100 West, Fairview; from 2 to 4 p.m. Maurine was born in Manti and moved to Oak Creek following her marriage to Fred W. Mower. Together they raised nine children. Fred and Maurine moved from Oak Creek to Fairview in 1981. Fred passed away in 1988. Maurine continues to enjoy good health and a good attitude. One of the first thoughts the worker had was, "Is this another raid?" In a way it EPHRAI- Bruce Irons celebrates 80th MORON- I- Bruce James Irons celebrated his 80th birthday Dec. 14, 2003. He was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Moroni, where he has resided for the majority of his life. He served in the Army during World War II and traveled much during this time. He married Phyllis Cox on Dec. 27, 1945, in the Manti LDS Temple. He graduated from Utah State University with a degree in physical education, using his education to teach at North Sanpete Middle and High Schools for 30 years. Irons has served on the North Sanpete School Board for the past 1 1 years and is currently serving his final year.
