As would be expected "Z" makes the trip out and through newly found bravery saves the day for the colony. 1 suspect "Antz will be in Sanpete soon. I recommend the show. 1 think there are lessons to be learned for Sanpete in the movie. We sometimes feel that Sanpete is a closed Society. Everyone has their place and they should know it and stick to it. It's not quite a social order of royalty and peasants or brahmin and untouchables. But some people sometimes act m saw the movie "Antz" over the weekend in a theater complex in north Provo. The new stadium style auditoriums are nice Even little kids have totally unobstructed views of part d ways been a lazy bunch." It's sad but true that we have that mentality. The message of "Antz" if you want to see it. is that we are all individuals. We can all better ourselves and rise above our circumstances. David Alan Finn, who has property above Spring City, appeared bclore the council to request getting water services to this property The Council explained that the water could not be run uphill. They luitlier explained that even if Finn went to the expense of putting a filtration system on the line, the city is unable to let him hook onto it because of possible contamination that might occur. In oilier business, it was reported some residents may be upset over trees that have been trimmed and some that will need to be trimmed because they are in the way of power lines, making unsafe conditions. Ron Christensen, resident, was denied his proposal to remove snow from sidewalks to the elementary school, at a cost of S25 per clearing, because council members believe that city employees could clear the snow with the city tractor.
