Show August 26, MT. PLEASAN- T- Farmers Country Floral, 57 West Main, will give away 5,000 roses in bunches of a dozen, absolutely free to anyone who visits the shop. Free roses will be available at noon, Sept. 2. Residents of Sanpete County will have a unique opportunity to meet each other and develop new friendships when Farmers Country Floral hosts "Good Neighbor Day" for the third year. Gordon and Anita Farmer, owners of Farmers Country Floral, hope the goodwill is "catching!" Those picking up roses will be asked to keep one for themselves and give the others away to 11 different people. Ron Greene and Glen Zumwalt, chairmen, said the barbecue dinner, games and auction will raise money to support Proposition 5, a constitutional amendment which will be voted on in November and provides measures to keep animal extremists from running emotional, reckless antihunting initiatives in Utah.
