I felt that a correction was needed on the second point however. Most Sanpete residents are aware that there is a world outside of the county. Its just that there are some people here who dont care to have much to do with the "outside world". These people have their needs and wants met just fine right here in Sanpete. They find economic, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual fulfillment within the boundaries of this county. So, heres the question: Is there anything wrong with that? I know seemingly well adjusted Sanpeters who havent been to Sait Lake City for months and months. I know seemingly normal people who hold down good jobs in the county who have never been to Mesquite or Las Vegas.
