A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant LDS First Ward. An open house will be held Saturday evening, Aug. 9, at the Holman residence, 177 West 1500 North, Centerville. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and Snow College. She is currently employed at New World Mortgage. Her grandmother is Erma Shelley of Fairview. The bridegroom is a graduate of Viewmont High School and is Currently attending BYU. He served in the Mexico Leon LDS Mission. His grandparents are Ted and Bonnie Holman, Sugar City ID; and Leonard and Marlene Prestwich, West Jordan. Peel, of Provo; son of Paul and Frances Peel, Mt. Pleasant, on Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening at the Mt. Pleasant LDS Stake Center. 295 South State, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. An open house will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the Gateway LDS Chapel in Midland, TX. The bride graduated from high school and LDS Seminary in Midland, TX. She also graduated from BYU in 1994. She is employed by Progressive Management Services in Salt Lake City. She has grandparents in Beaver and Miner. The bridegroom received degrees or certificates from Snow College, Utah State University (USU), Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University m Blacksburg, VA, Moscow Aviation Institute in Moscow, Russia, and is currently working on his PhD at BYU in Provo. He worked at Thiokol, Douglas Aircraft, and was an instructor at Snow College and USU. He served in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania LDS Mission. The couple will make their home in Orem. Melissa Mower and Dean Ferrin to repeat wedding vows Dennis and Beverly Mower announce the marriage of their daughter, Melissa Ann. to Dean Douglas Ferrin, son of Joanie Larson, Gunnison, and Douglas Ferrin, Mesa, AZ, on Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997. Her grandmother is Maurine Mower, Fairview. The bridegroom is a graduate of Mesa High School, Mesa AZ, and participated in wrestling and tennis. They were married July 30, 1947, in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on March 29, 1969. DeVon spent most of his married life working on road construction as a heavy equipment operator. Glenna worked for Moroni Feed Company. They have three daughters, Glenna Kaye Frutos and RaNae Vargas, both of Moroni; and Mickie Allman, Fairview. They have 11 grandchildren and two 76 West Main that teaches SKILLS.
