Peterson will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Ephraim Senior Citizens Center, 85 West 100 North. The family requests no gifts. SPRING CIT- Y- Amy Hodapp and Dan Olson were married July 19, 1997 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 87 West 200 North, Spring City. In case of inclement weather, the reception will be held in the Spring City LDS Church, 164 South Main Street. Amy is the daughter of Ted and Joan Hodapp of Manti. She is a graduate of Harbor High School in Santa Cruz, CA, where she was awarded honors in the art department. She served in the South Dakota Rapid City LDS Mission. She is currently employed in the Manti LDS Temple office. Dan is the son of Darrel and Joan Olson, Spring City. He is a graduate of North Sanpete High School. He served in the England London South LDS Mission. He graduated from Snow College with an associate degree in science and from University of Utah with a bachelors degree in analytical chemistry. He is currently employed by Moroni Feed Company as an analytical chemist. Vance will honor him on his 80th birthday at an open house from 1 to 3 p m., Saturday, Aug 2, at the Mt Pleasant Senior Citizens Center, 67 West Main Street He was born in Milburn on Aug. 3, 1917, where he spent his early years. Lyle Vance to be honored on 80th birthday 283-437- Diane Holman, West Jordan, was the winner of the DUP quilt during the annual Fountain Green Lamb Day Celebration. Her father, Bruce Holman, Fountain Green, is pictured with her. Dan Olson and Amy Hodapp He and his wife served in the Washington D.C. LDS Temple Mission, where he served as a sealer. After returning to Sanpete, he was also a sealer in the Manti LDS Temple. He was an ordinance worker in the Jordan River LDS Temple before his mission call. He has served as president of the High Priest group in Fountain Green and many years m the community working with the Lions Club in Fountain Green as president and in other positions. The family requests no gifts. He married Sanoma Twitchell on July 11, 1937, in Panguitch. Their marriage was solemnized m the Manti LDS Temple in November 1937. She passed away in November 1991. He worked - for Melgaard Creamery and was a farmer and trucker m the Fairview area. He later moved his family to Salt Lake City where he worked for 5. Aug. 8, 6 p.m., the van will leave the center to attend the Sccra Outdoor Theatre in Orem featuring the play, "Crazy for You", with music by George and Ira Gershwin. Call Helen for cost and reservations. Aug. 11,9 a.m., the van will leave for a trip to Fruitland in Duchesne County to visit an "Earthship". designed to take its residents into the future. The design is made from 850 old tires, 25,000 beer cans and hard work. Buy or bring own lunch. Contact Helen for other costs and reservations.
