Autumn, to Wade Ellertson, son of Judy and John Ellertson, Brigham City, on Friday, April 11, 1997, at the Juab County Fairgrounds. A reception will be held in their honor that evening at the fairgrounds from 7 to 9 p.m. The bride graduated from Juab High School and the Von Curtis Academy of Hair Design. She is employed in Provo. The bridegroom graduated from Box Elder High School and is employed in Spanish Fork. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rawlings and Mrs. Vergie Shumway; and is Mrs. Bemiece Rawlings. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Houghton and Mr. and Mrs. Wells Ellertson. Students in grades presented history research projects to compete for the opportunity to advance to the state contest. This year, students were encouraged to explore the Utah Pioneer Sesquicentennial as they addressed the theme, "Triumph and Tragedy in History." The students competed according to their age group in four different categories: historical papers, exhibits, performances and media presentations. Poulson has written the "Samuel" series of books. "Samuel: Moronis Young Warrior", "Samuel: Gadiantons Foe", and "Samuel: Thunder in Paradise," are among his works along with his latest book, "Flight from Babel."
