Show mm f f Extension office to hold beef cattle workshop Moroni woman receives minor injuries in four car, fog related accident MT. PLEASAN- TFour vehicles were involved in an accident west of Mt. Pleasant on Highway 116 about 8 a.m., last Friday, Jan. 24, due to low visibly from dense fog. Three vehicles, a 87 Chev Nova, driven by Leah Freeman, age 17, Moroni: an '85 Renault driven by Katherine Collat'd. 17, Fountain Green; and an 84 Mazada driven by Deanna Erickson, 55, Moroni, were stopped behind a school bus which was loading passengers when a fourth vehicle, driven by Revis Christensen. age 17. Moroni, who was driving a 1971 Dodge truck, came upon the stopped vehicles. The driver stated he could not see the stopped vehicles or their brake lights. The Christensen truck struck the Erickson vehicle causing a chain reaction. Erickson was transported to Sanpete Valley Hospital with bruises cuts and abrasions. No broken bones were reported or injuries to any other drivers. Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Gene Openshaw stated there was about $13,400 in damages to all the vehicles involved. Christensen was cited for following too close. If the wrong man uses the right means, the right means work in the wrong way.
