She was born on Aug. 27, 1927, in Salt Lake City to Joseph W. and Vondella Hansen Knight. She married Arcoangelo Poloni in August 1948. He died on May 4, 1959. She married Richard R. Madsen, Sept. 6, 1963. He died on June 15, 1977. She was raised and attended school in Fair-vieAfter she had raised her family she returned to college and pursued a teaching certificate. She loved opera, ballet and symphony. She is survived by four children, Tony Polom, Mrs. Wes (Judy) Lowry, Mrs. Charles (Sharon) Stephens, and Ellen; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers. Bob and Joe. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery. He was born Feb. 26, 1908, in Moroni to John D. and Venretta Tidwell intoxication. Bail was set at $700. Jan. Estella Bingham Ballinger. She married Vance Royal Nielson, Feb. 15, 1943, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 21, 1978. She graduated from She schools. Ogden worked as a nurse in an Ogden doctors office for many years. She was a Navy veteran of WWII having served as a nurse in the Hospital Corps in Corpus Christi, TX, and was a member of the Monroe American Legion Auxiliary Post 37. She was a member of the Monroe Camp Mountain DUP. An active member of the LDS Church, she served in many positions including Junior Sunday School coordinator for over 35 years. She enjoyed handwork and was a seamstress for many years. She is survived by children: Janice F. Nielson Jarman, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, and Jeff V. Nielson, both of Monroe; seven grandchildren; sister, Joce Sandlund, Ogden; brother, George Ballinger, Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Farr.
