Timpan i WU ogos club and tho Salt Lake Commercial club nnd others., j f They wore taken np to tho base of tho mountain Thursday Thurs-day afternoon, so all could bo in readiness to mako tho climb early Friday morning. Word came down from the canyon yesterday at noon that the hikers had been "shot" clustered at the chest of wnt crfalls, on tho brink of precipices', precipi-ces', peering over ledges that descend into nothingnsss and climbing glaciers.
