Presently there is no policy on how they handle these differences. clear-c- ut Courthouse auditorium. Farmers, ranchers, environmental advocates, hikers, hunters and others concerned about Utah wildlife should attend this forum. For more information contact Clyde Hurst, Utah State University Extension agent, at ext. 275 or Kay Kimball, Sevier Wildlife Federation. A panel discussion, moderated by Mark Fullenbach, publisher of the Richfield Reaper, will focus on wildlife policy in Utah. A tentative line up of panelists include comments from Terry Messmer, USU Extension Wildlife Specialist, addressing the history of Utahs wildlife policy making system. Jerry Jensen, executive director of the Utah Wildlife Federation, will outline proposed legislation to create a new wildlife commission in Utah. 896-926- 462-248- application activated. North Sanpete School District is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, medical conditions or handicap. 2, Senator Leonard Blackham and Representative Bradley Johnson, member of the Legislative Task Force on Wildlife Issues will focus on achieving equal representation of all wildlife interests and proposed legislation. Kay Kimball, Sevier Wildlife Federation and member of the Utah Wildlife Board, will repre- -' sent that board and some of the feelings of wildlife interests in South Central Utah. Jerry Mason, chair of the Utah Wildlife Federation and member of the Utah Board of Big Game Control, will discuss ideas on how outdoor interest representation can be achieved. A similar forum was held in Logan in early December. This ' forum is the second public airing of proposed legislation to dissolve the Utah Wildlife Board and the Utah Board of Big Game Control. In place of these two boards, a new seven member commission would be formed. The reason for the proposed change is to eliminate conflict. The two boards are often at odds with each other. The Wildlife Board, for example, sets policy e to manage species such as cougars and bears. The Board of Big Game manages big game hunts and big game depredation among other things. This sets the stage for conflict since non-gam- e species, such as cougars, are predators of big game, such as mule deer. 100 home equity loans approved in 30 minutes over the phone andaccessed through your Visad Wflw says you cant have it all?
