Show TWELVE CASES OF FEVER REPORTED the october bulletin of the state board of health shows twelve cases of typhoid fever is carbon county with one death fifteen cases of whooping cough and one death and W two 0 of pneumonia with one death scarlet fever cases nine with no deaths total death from all causes amounted to eleven total towns and districts reporting four it is gratifying to note that the mortality rate for october is lesi less than that of tl alj same month of apy previous i year since gince the beginning of accurate records in the state also there is a large increase in the number of localities reporting no contagious diseases the total so reporting amounting to 60 50 per cent of the whole number there has been an especial reduction in the typhoid rate which would seem to indicate an increased attention to preventive measures through out the state |
