PLEASAN- T- Wasatch Academy will go into their Christmas break with five wins and no losses. The Tigers had two victories this past week, one against the Tintic Miners, the other against the Wendover Wildcats. On Dec. 10, the Tigers stole a Sal physical ball game, Romero led the offense with 16 points, Justin Vanderhoop had 13, and Andy Larsen, 12. Each contributed to the knockout punch of the Miners. Adam 59-5- 7. King added ten points, Jae Hyung Chang and Makoto Sauchi each added four. Despite a defensive struggle the first three quarters, the Tigers tamed the Wendover Wildcats 6 on Saturday. In the second home game, the Tigers stole the game from the Pirates of Green River, 45-4The flu bug hit several of the players as the Tigers shot a dismal 28 percent from the field. The defense picked up the slack and played a swarming defense on the Pirates key players, holding the Pirates to only six third period points. Adam King came off the bench and scored all of his five points in the last few minutes of the game. It was Kings free throw with 14 seconds left on the clock that gave the Tigers their first lead and the winning point. Ladyhawks fall to Pineview, Enterprise Snow College loses two on the road by Gary Chidester IDAHO The road was unkind to the Snow College Badgers as they dropped two games over the long weekend 61-6- 8 to North Idaho and 64-8- 1 to Ricks MT. Against Enterprise, Natalee Allred scored 16 points, four of those were three-poishots. Sadie Christensen scored 10 points and had nine rebounds. Kathryn McAllister scored 5 points, with seven rebounds. Natalee Allred was again the high scorer against Pineview with 13 points, Sadie Christensen, Kathryn McAllister and Tawny a Crumb all had 12 points. Kathryn also had 5 rebounds. The girls were made 59 percent of their field goals and 71 percent of their field goals. This was lost on turnovers. Steadman and Dalian Jensen. The Hawks stayed close throughout the game, behind by only two points at the half.. At the end of the third quarter, NS was ahead scoring 26 more points including a three-poishot by Jeff Mower, but Park City took the rug out from under the Hawks winning by just three points. P.J. Steadman led with 17 points and ten rebounds. Eric Dyches scored 15 points and had six assists. Ben Morley scored 11, Dalian Jensen, 10, and Jeff Mower, 9, with three assists.
