Show June 2, 1993 - The Pyramid - Page Three Seven vie for Miss Fairview title FAIRVIEW Seven Fairview misses will compete in the Miss Fairview Scholarship Pageant at the elementary school Saturday, June 5, at 7 p.m. The lovely and talented young competitors are Mesha Perry, daughter of John and Colleen Perry; Camie Lyn Church, daughter of Dennis and Rhonda Church; Maria Chae Madsen, daughter of Bryant and Priscilla Madsen; Natalie Cox, daughter of Ron and Tammy Cox; Amy Sheree Giles, daughter of Ron and Kathie Giles; Terra Coates, daughter of Curtis and Eddy Jean Coates; and Melanie Anderson, daughter of Corey and Lois Anderson. Under the direction of Lesa Cox, Ellen Lee, Melissa Wootton and Eilene Cox, the theme of this years pageant is "A Whole New World." Mistress of Ceremonies will be Shelly Sherman, Miss Fairview 1992, with Spencer Cox as Master of Ceremonies. The seven contestants are all students or graduates from North Sanpete High School. Melanie Anderson Melanie graduated in May and will attend LDS Business College in Salt Lake City this fall. She 1 has been on the high honor roll for four years, has been on many business teams, and received numerous awards. She enjoys sewing, reading, cooking and sports and has studied piano and clogging. She will show a creative presentation of her sewing abilities. Camie Lyn Church Also a recent graduate, Camie will attend Snow College. She was North Sanpetes Sterling Scholar in Math and a four-yemember of the Spiriteers, winning region and state honors. She loves dancing, singing, sewing, ar cooking, camping, talking and having fun. She will perform a clogging routine. Terra Coates Terra graduated from North Sanpete High this year and plans on attending Snow College in the fall. She very been very active in speech, drama and theater, receiving numerous awards. She was a Sterling Scholar in English and Literature and enjoys biking, camping, reading, studying and community plays. She will perform a musical pantomime.
