Miss Syme performed a vocal solo, and Miss Jacobson gave a humorous reading. Six contestants competed for the title during evening gown and talent competition and a speech. They all performed a production number. The pageant was under the direction of Lisa Mower. Mayor Dean Hansen gave a welcome and introduced Warren Bailey as Master of Ceremonies. MORONI-Carol- Nicole Rawlings, daughter of Reed and Janice Rawlings of Freedom, was named first attendant; and Marianne Dyches, daughter of Brent and Sally Dyches was named second attendant and "Miss Vivacious." Tina Mitchell, daughter of Bud and Flo Mitchell of Chester, was named "Miss Congeniality" and received an alternate award. Kathy Christensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Richins was named "Miss Model" and received an alternate award. The new Miss Moroni played a piano solo, "Etude," for her talent number. Alternates are Tina Mitchell and Kathy Jennifer Plain Miss Spring City royalty crowned SPRING CIT- Y- Jennifer Blain, daughter of Gary and Carol Blain, was crowned Miss Auditorium in Moroni. Her attendants are JoAnne Syme and Jenny Jacobson. Spring City during a ceremony May 8. Miss Blain choreographed and performed a combination dance routine that included ballet, modern dance and tumbling. Her attendants are Valorie Nielson, first attendant and Amy Beck, second attendant.
