PLEASAN- T- When the school bell rings at Mt. Pleasant Elementary, its school as usual for 59 migrant students who dont seem to mind attending school during the d summer. The students are part of a federally funded national migrant education program designed to provide supplementary services to meet the special educational needs of migratory children, children who academic programs, career options and counseling ac- tivities and vocational skill training that encouragd migrant childrens retention in school and contribute tb success in later life; com- move frequently because their parents are seasonally employed in agriculture or fishing industries.
