The total taxable sales in the county for the four quarters ending in Sept. 1984 was $56,607,400 up from $48,115,500 in 1983. The total gross taxable sales for the Central District comprised of Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, Andrew Snell, a sixth grade student and son of Janet Snell of Fairview, was the winner of the North Sanpete School District Spelling Bee which was held at the Middle School on March 19. PLEASANT A one-ca- r city damaged a pick up truck and injured at least one of the two men riding in the vehicle about 1 a.m. March 23. Sketchy details of the accident as reported by Sheriffs Deputy Bruce Tidwell indicated Larry Dyches, Moroni, the cars driver, lost control of the pickup, overcorrected it, and it overturned.
