PLEASANT Sanpete Valley Hospital has announced that Dr. Douglas Murdock, D.P.M., a podiatrist, will begin conducting outpatient clinics at the hospital beginning Saturday, May 7. Dr. Murdock, a resident of West Valley City is a graduate of Brigham Young University, and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1981. He has completed an additional one year residency in Podiatric Surgery at Central Valley Medical Center, Salt Lake City. He is married to the former Diane Coates of Moroni. Dr. Murdock says that his desire to practice in Sanpete County stems from his encounters with Sanpete County residents who have traveled to Salt Lake City for treatment of foot complaints.
