Show Page Fourteen Deposit return policy set for Spring City November 20, 1980 The Pyramid SPRING CITY- - Under an amended policy, residents of Spring City who have established a good credit rating with the city and have not been delinquent on power and water bills will be able to receive their power and water hookup deposits back after one year. The Council took the action at a meeting November 13. Jack Rowlett, new City Justice of the Peace, presented a document which he said the city would have to adopt in order to keep revenue from citations in the city rather than having the county receive the funds. Mayor Glen Osborne reported that he would take the document to the City Attorney to have a similar one written up if needed, in order to obtain legal means to keep the revenue in the the Utah Highway Patrol use of emergency frequencies and were made into motions and approved by the council; the Mayor reported that a letter had been received from Denver stating that cnce again the city water system was unapproved, but he said that he will be sending a letter to their office static that all necessary repairs had been, completed and inspected by the State office and found to be in accordance city. Rowlett also requested supplies to set up a regular JP Court and was given permission to order whatever he feels is needed at this time. Mayor Osborne reported that the city has received the new radar gun for the police car and it is hoped that final details can be worked out on a volunteer police department for the city within the next one of two weeks when the car should be ready. She also reporta that much research went into making props such as the alter ss authentic as possible. A special attraction will be a stained glass window which was designed especially for the production, Mrs. Newton said. Roy Ellefson will be directing the musical score.
