Show May Noritag Nook 10, The Pyramid 1970 - Page Three Only a mother can kiss away a tear NORIT.VSNOOK By Norita Lancaster 462-283- 3 This Sunday, we again remember and honor our mothers on their special day. It is our way of saying, Thanks, Mom, for all your tender, loving care and for the beauty you bring into our lives. The baby looked into the womans eyes as he lay nestled in her arms, and he felt security. The small child looked at the woman with tears in his eyes and felt comfort as she put a band-ai- d on just the right spot and kissed away the pain of a d face. An older child feels her presence as he dashes into the house after school or play, and says, Hi! I'm hungry, what's there to eat? He feels a loss when she is not there to greet him. The teen-age- r will know her pride at his accomplishments or feel her disapproval and discipline, according to his actions. All of her children feel happiness because of her patience, tenderness, thoughtfulness. They know of her sacrifice, kindness, humor, and yes, even toy anger. What ties them all together are the bonds of a mothers love, as she comforts them, looks after their needs, plays with them, laughs with them, teaches them and prays for them. tear-staine- The man saw beauty as he looked at the woman, as she is the mother of his children, the love of his life, his wife.
