| Show 0 ING or THE bh K county mast must have money to tide matters over INTEREST IS TWO PER CENT HIGHER THAN OTHERS at the special spec ii meeting of the board of county commissioners last monday clerk jones was instructed to write R C watkins and george ryland architect and contractor respectively of the court house building to meet with the board in regular session on march contractor rylands bondsmen N P and neil INI madsen are also expected to be pre pr ebent hent the session has to do with the completion of the building and other matters in connection therewith the commissioners figure that about six thousand dollars will be required for carrying on court house work between this time and issuance of the bonds to meet this the clerk was as ordered to draw a warrant for at a thousand housand dollars in ill favor of the first national bank of price and five thousand more more may be borrowed if needed it t is understood der stood the price bank charges 8 per cent on any moneys advanced the county while salt lake acty banks charge the county but 6 per cent the price bank for years has had carbon account when there were large sums of money in the treasury without interest on deposits B R mcdonald chris K jensen and A W horsley were constituted a committee to V go to salt lake city and confer with members of the legislature as to local appropriations for roads and bridges in carbon county |
