Show AUGUST 19, 1986 L, obituary OLeah Tamsay William V. Bodily Katherine E. Cole Katherine Ellen Cole, 81, of 1563 E. Kays Creek Drive, Layton, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1986 at a Clearfield nursing home of complications of pneumonia. She was born July 4, 1905 in Kansas City, Kans., a daughter of O'Leah Wiggill Tamsay , 69, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1986 in Mesquite, Nev. of an apparent heart attack. Born Aug. 11, 1916 in Ogden, a daughter of Eli Francis and Louie Eva Bybee Wiggill. Evelyn Married Frank Tamasy, March 1, 1944 in Yuma, Ariz. They were later divorced. She had worked at Sierra Lingerie Co. for 29 years. She was a resident of Layton. Member LDS Church. Member of DUP. Past President of Fiddlers Creek William Vernon Bodily, 82, of 496 N. 200 W., Clearfield, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1986 at the Humana Hospital Davis North of heart failure. He was born Ji .j 17, 1904 in Syracuse, a son of Fred and Amy Christine Miller L'jdily. He married Norrin Page in January of 1921 in Layton. They were later divorced. He married Hazel lone Peterson July 28, 1928 in Concord, Calif. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS life-lon- Joseph Bellman and Katherine Ellen Kelly Cramer Francis. She married Alva Lonnie Cole Sept. 3, 1932 in Kansas City, Kans. He died May 24, 1968. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and was active in the choir and relief work. She was a member of the Pen Women, the Book of the Month Club, the YWCA, and the national g Camp. Survived by three brothers and one sister, Francis E. Wiggill, Syracuse, J. Stanford Wiggill, Layton; Derrah B. Wiggill, Layton; Ruth W. Rouland, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Aug. 11 at the Layton 21st LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Thomas Pratt Temple. He had,been employed as a heavy equipment operator at the Navy Base and Hill Air Force Base. He retired from Hill Air Force Base then worked as a salesman for Clearfield Realty. He was also a farmer. He had lived in Syracuse until 1957, then moved to Clearfield where he resided until his death. He was a member of the Clearfield 10th LDS Ward where he served as a high priest and home and dren; 31 four great Also surviving is one brother, Earl Bodily, Layton. He was preceded in death by four daughters, one son and two daughters. Services were held at the Lindquists Clearfield Mortuary. Interment in the Syracuse City Cemetery. n. teacher. Surviving are his widow of Clearfield; one son and two daughters, James Larry Bodily, Salinas, Calif.; Mrs. Leonard (lone) Keller, Riverdale; Mrs. Kenard (Marion) Srnder, Clearfield; 18 grandchil officiating. Family prayer was by Francis E. Wiggill; prelude, Eve Bean; In The Garden by Lucille F. Patrick; invocation, D. J. Rands; remarks, Bishop Thomas J. Pratt; speakers John Morgan and Janet L'oftus; How Great Thou' Art by D. J. Cutler; benediction, Derrah B. Wiggill. Dedication of the grave was by J. and state Grapho Analysis Society. She had been a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and was a writer for the local newspapers. She wrote short stories, was an oil painter and taught handwriting analysis. She owned and managed the Bluebird and Evergreen Motels in Des Moines, Iowa. She moved to Layton in 1982. Surviving are a son, Michale Wynn Cole, Layton and three grandchildren. Services were held in the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral directors, Myers Mortuary of Layton. Stanford Wiggill with interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ben Roach, H. James Stephenson, Michael Wiggill, Paul B. Wiggill, Stanford Rands, Robert Lefevre, and Richard Wiggill. Honorary pallbearers were her many nephews and grandnephews. He was born Sept. 14, 1984 in Layton. He had lived in Layton since his birth. His parents are members of the Layton 12th Ward. Surviving are his parents of Layton, two brothers and one sister, Kasey Dene Christensen, Brian Eric Christensen and Jeni Lynn Christensen, all of Layton.
