Show AUGUST 5. 1986 L, Obituary DeLee M. Brown DeLee Monson Brown 58, of 904 N 1500 E., Layton, died Monday, July 21, 1986 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of a heart attack. She was born Nov. 26, 1927 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Byron Clifton and Casse Lyman Monson. She married Keith X. Brown June 16, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared and educated in Pleasant Grove and Salt Lake City. She moved to Layton in 1947 where she has resided until the time of her death. She graduated from Murray High School. She was an active member of the LDS Chuch. She had served in the Primary and Stake Relief Society presidency. She had also served as Relief Society president and on the stake Relief Society Board. She had been the Spiritual Living leader and at the time of her death was serving in the name extraction program. She was active with the Daughters of Utah Pioneers serving as secretary of the Adamswood Camp. She had also served as second vice president of the Layton Davis County Company. Surviving are her husband of Layton, three sons and six daughters, Stephen P. Brown, Ogden; Clifton K. Brown, Kaysville; Jeffrey K. Brown, Mrs. Robert E. (Vivien) Cannon, Mrs. Mark E. (Dianne) Lindeman, Mrs. Fredrick E. (Marsha) Boam, Mrs. Byron T. (Joyce) Williamson and Janice Brown, all of Layton; Mrs. Clyde L. (Caroline) Lindeman, 16 Roy; grandchildren. Also suroiving are five sisters, Mrs. Scott T. (ThoraLyn) Lyman, Orem; Mrs. F. Morgon (Davidene) Coombs, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Kay R. (Michelle) Johnson, Blanding; Mrs. Val M. (Casse) McCleery, Sandy; Lani Monson, Midvale. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Services were held Saturday at the Layton East Stake Center, with Bishop Gerald T. Bettridge of the Layton 35th Ward officiating. Funeral directors, Lindquists Layton Mortuary.
