He had attended Weber State College. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Oeden. HE WAS employed by the Albertsons Corporation in Ogden. He had assisted the Ogden City Police Department in training the Mariam Hodgson Wiggill, 88, of 534 Church, Layton, died Tuesday. July 30. 1985 in a Clearfield nursing home for incidents to age. SHE WAS born Dec. 25, 1896, in Kaysville. a daughter of John and Harriet Emily Webb Hodgson. She married James Edward Wiggill on Dec. 19. 1917, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1935. SHF1 WAS retired from Kowley Drug. She was reared and educated in area. the Kaysville-Layto- n SHE WAS a member of the L.ayton 1st LDS Ward where she had served as Relief Society secretary and as a visiting teacher. canine procedures. Memorial services were held Wednesday at the Hill Air Force Base Chapel with Chaplains John Hellstrcn and Janet McCormack FUNERAL services were held Saturday at the Layton 1st LDS Ward Wasatch Chapel with Bishop Paul Hatch officiating. Mr. Ellgen has worked as the finance officer in Craig, Colo, for the past three and years. HE IS married and is the father of two children. She was pieceded in death by a daughtci and four brothers. The funeral was held Saturday, Aug. 3 at Lindquist Layton Chapel in FI NERVE directors, Myers Mortuary, Layton. Layton. and one sister, Irene Johnson. officers Interment was in the Salt Lake City Ccmeteiy. Military honors were accorded. HE WAS an active member of the LDS Chinch. He had served in various oi ganiations in the church. He had served twice as a ward bishop, served in two ward bishoprics, served in a stake presidency, saved on two high councils. served in various teaching positions and was active in scouting. At the time of his death he was serving as bishop of the Layton 32nd W'ard. He had lived in Mesa.
