He attended Davis and Viewmont High Schools graduating from Viewmont High in 1979. He served an LDS mission in the Ohio Columbus Mission. The bride is the daughter of Jerald J. Wilde of West Jordan and in 1984. Feb. 23 marked the wedding day of John Perry Crawley of Provo and Jillene Wilde of Pleasant Cirove. John is attending Utah Technical College in Orem and until his graduation in May they will be making their home in Provo. Perkins - Ortez and a sash at the waistline. The bride wore a white taffeta gown styled with a net bodice, accented with lace and sleeves seed pearls, Feb. 8 in the Salt Lake Temple were Laura Lee Tiffany and Matthew W. Wilson. Elder David A. Burton officiated at the ceremony. THE BRIDE is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Tiffany of 899 E. 400 N., Kaysville. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William K. Wilson of 255 E. Center, Kaysville. Following the ceremony the couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Kaysville Rock Chapel hosted by the bridegrooms parents. That evening they greeted guests at reception at the Rock Chapel. TIM WILSON, brother of the groom assumed the duties of best man. Ushers were Cliff Wilson and Keith Wilson. Following a honeymoon trip to Lava Hot Springs, Ida., the newlyweds are making their home in Layton. KNEEDY Davis County Cold Storage Plant. He has been active in both church and civic functions. In the LDS Church he has served as chairman of the genealogical committee, president of the Adult Sunday School Class for 14 years, High Priest Group Leader eight years, president of the Kaysville 1st Ward Choir, home teacher and scouting leader for 20 years. Senior He married Sara Beard of Coalville on Christmas Day in 1922. They have been married 63 years. She has recently encountered health problems and Mr. Kneedy and his daughters and son and their families are helping with her care. ROBERT E. GREEN MR. KNEEDY is proud of this community and has witnessed the great many changes, especially in the growth since he moved to Kaysville in 1937. Mr. and Mrs. Kneedy are parents of five children, Mrs. Jim (Edith) McLaughlin, 26. THE BRIDE has attended Clearfield High, Dixie College and USU. The groom attended Dixie High School and Dixie College. He filled an LDS mission to England. They are making their home in St. George. MATTHEW W. WILSON Mrs. Kirk Wright attended the guest book. THE BRIDE is a graduate of Davis High School and LDS Seminary. She attended Weber State College. The groom graduated from Davis High and LDS Seminary and attended Weber State. He served an LDS California-Sa- n Diego Mission. np Piano Recital A piano recital was held for the students of Elaine Beckstrand March 2 at her home in Kaysville. STUDENTS who participated were Jonathan Oldham, Brandon Richins, Mylissa Richins, Julie Petersen, Lesley Berrett, Lavinia Tauglichee, Erin Berrett, JoAnn Sanders, Lisa Barrett, Jodee Barrett, Stephanie St. Jeor. Also Shana St. Jeor, Janel Wool-leJeanette Wake, Melanie Lewis, Elise Balmer, Annie Baker, Sarah Garfield, McKenzie Miller, Jodie Hansen, Mafcelle Hansen, Amy Jorgensen, Jamie Beecher, Nicole Sill, Sonya Sill, Allison Beckstrand and Michelle y, and Mrs. Paul Brophy. HE RECALLS attending school at the Layton Elementary School when it contained only two rooms. His high school classes were held in the small red brick home that was located at Five Points, where the Mountain Bell Telephone Co. is currently located. Mr. Green was married to Malin-d- a Burton, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Nov. 7, 1917 by Joseph F. Smith, who was the president of the LDS Church at that time. The couple observed their 63rd wedding anniversary before Malindas passing on March 10, 1981. HE SERVED in World War I, and upon returning home from this service, he and his bride purchased the farm land that has been their home since. He has always engaged in farming and cattle raising. He was employed by the Davis County School District for some 37 years, as he operated a school bus. At the retirement of his school bus driving, he was honored by the state for his outstanding record of safety driving and was honored with a plaque, as Driver of the Year, plus a cash award. AN ACTIVE member of the Layton 2nd Ward, he is a High Priest, and was a home teacher for many years. He and his wife enjoyed attending regular sessions of the temple for many years. He has a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Jay H. (Marjorie) Simmons, and Thayne R. Green, both of Layton, and John H. Green of Centerville. He also has 13 grandchildren and 18 n. Suzanne R. Summy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell L. Summy, 1788 N. 1690 W., Layton, and Jeffrey L. Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. David L. Scott of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, were married Jan. 19 at the United Church of Christ by Rev. Phil Joos. THE COUPLE was honored at a reception at the NCO Club at Hill AFB. The bride wore a gown made of lace and chiffon over silk. Her bouquet was made of peach roses with white and gray accents with peach, white, gray and bead streamers. SAMI Swider was maid of honor with Marianne Gault and Rhonda Archuleta as bridesmaids. They wore peach chiffon dresses with lace ruffles with peach carnation clutches. Mothers were peach dresses and gardenia corsages. BEST man duties were performed by Jay McKinney. Ushers were Mike Lish, Mike Nunley with Michael J. Birkholz as ring bearer. Main, Kaysville, was honored on his 90th birthday on Thursday, Feb. 28 with a family gathering at his home. HIS LIFE has been spent in working hard, raising a family, being a devoted husband and in service to his church and community. Mr. Kneedy is well acquainted with the public, having been owner and operator of the Davis County Cold Storage Plant in Kaysville until his retirement and his son Larry took over the operation of the business.
