KAYSVILLE Lori Homer, a senior at Davis High School, has been notified that she has been awarded a r Merit Scholarship by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. SHE WAS one of 5,500 students nationwide as a recipient of the scholarship during its 29th annual competition with 200 colleges and universities in 40 states donating $9 million in tuition and fees to sponsor this years Merit Scholarship for the students. All 88 students participated in displaying ten page reports, which culminated the year's social studies. THEY HAVE known about these reports all year and could choose which state they wanted.
