Show ASKING T V A UNIFORM FORM LAW C B stewart secretary of the utah Wool growers association is receiving notices from commission commis aion men of the eart signifying their intention of attending the state convention to be held december and the commission men will igo go from silt lake city to portland to attend the national convention Lonen tion of wool growers at the convention of the wyoming Wool growers acia tion held at che cheyenne enne december ath certain action was taken on the demand for uniform sheep laws that will benefit sheep men especially in utah wyoming and idaho resolutions setting forth the needs of the sheep men were ere passed stewart steart attended that convention and gave an address on the importance of securing the laws the wyoming convention resolutions which wool growers from the mountain states will indorse in lorse follows whereas the difficulty of shipping sheep from one state to another the enforcement of sanitary live livestock stock and the administration of bounty laws are complicated and impeded by the difference in the statutes relating thereto in the different states therefore be it resolved that we request the national Wool growers association to use its beat best efforts to secure uniformity of legislation in the several states in this respect resolved that we indorse the present sanitary laws of the state of wyoming but we request the state board of sheep commissioners to secure such legislation at the coining session of the state legislature as a will grant to it some discretionary power in regard to the handling of sheep grazed along the state lines and owned by flock masters property is 13 adjacent thereto |
