close their doors for the th day and the week but bu for good the overwhelming vote of the people last june was to the effect that the saloons must go and after saturday next they will be gone there are those in the community who he predict dire results in a commercial way following the closing of th tho 0 saloons while others maintain that social and moral conditions will be worse than with the open saloon in I 1 our midst but the majority of the citizens are just as optimistic that conditions both morally socially and commercially merci ally will be infinitely bettered by reason of the closing of the saloon and the majority always rule the question was asked mr kaiser proprietor of the wilson bar what he intended to do after saturday next promptly the answer came gp go fishing and hunt hunting Dg everybody who is acquainted with katsel kalse can readily accept his announcement on that score especially in view of the fact that the luck season opens on sunday next mr 1 7 maci man pr v inions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished when not other wise provided in tills act liy by a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more than two hundred ninety nine dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than thirty days nor more than six months or by both such fine aud and imprisonment if any natural person shall be convicted a second time for violating any of the provisions of this act such person shall be punished for such second and each sA subsequent sequent violation by both such fine and imprisonment it any corporation shall in any way violate any of the provisions of this act it shall be guilty t y of 0 a misdemeanor and shall bo be pun when not otherwise provided in this act by a fine of not less than one kundred hundred dollars nor more than one thousand housand jt dollars and it if any corpora corporation vion shall be convicted a second time far for violating any of the provisions ot tills this act it shall be punished for such second and each subsequent violation of the law by a fine ot of not loss less than thre hundred dollars nor more than five thousand dollars in caso case of con bof a licensed
