You see, Florida is the winter home of the richest people in the world. Their homes are there and in summer they travel to Europe, and the Orient, but this was March and they were still in Florida. How we did enjoy the company of such intelligent people. From Orlando we went just a short distance to Winter Haven, which as you know is one of the most popular cities for entertaining the wealthy people, who spend their winters in Florida. We took a boat ride through Cypress Gardens, with a guide to give us all of the names of the many varieties of flowers and shrubs in the gardens, and to explain the many water shows which were taking place in the gardens. Much skill is required to do the water skiing acts which go on all day in these gardens. We went from Winter Haven to the Singing Tower, one of the most famous towers in the world, but we will continue our trip through Florida and perhaps fly to Cuba, next week.
