Show Mrs. Wayne (Jeanette) Ash- by, Ogden. The West Ward Relief Society held a lovely Christmas social Mr, and Mrs. Lynn (Nora) Cook had their baby blessed in East Ward Sacrament meeting. Blessed by her father, she received the name of Emily. She has a brother, Christopher. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Scott Cook, Fountain Green, and Mr. and Mrs. LaMont Blackham, Moroni. are Mr. and Mrs. Ray B. McKinnon, Moroni. A family dinner was held in honor of' Emily at the home of grandma and grandpa Cook in Fountain Green. In addition to the above, those present were O'Neill Blackham, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Mark (Sue) .Intancpn Salt Lake Citv; Tim Blackham and friend, Cindy, Snow College; Bryant Blackham; Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Beryl) Moroni; Cook and family, Mr. and Mrs. Louis and family, Fountain Green; Mrs. Tom (Beatrice) Dyches and son, Thomas, Chester; Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Gaye) Cook and family, Fairview; Debra Taylor, Susan Robertson, Michelle Robertson, and Diane Robertson, Fairview. Visiting the weekend with Mrs. John L. Olsen were her son, Lloyd V. Olsen, Idaho Falls; and grandsons, Steven Olsen, University of Chicago and Mark (Dorothy) Cook Olsen, BYU. Mrs. Ruth Jensen will spend Christmas with her daughter and family, Mr. and Our very best wishes for a warm, happy holiday season. Carols were sung under the direction of Mrs. Ua Faux and Mrs. Pearl Christensen. Mrs. Wanda Eliason presented the Family Health lesson, after which a most enjoyable program was presented by Mr. J.S. 'Christensen and the North Sanpete Program Bureau. The "Just Thinkin " and the "Misty Crystals" groups entertained as well as a variety of soloists, duets, and instrumental numbers. A delicious dinner was served on beautifully decorated tables to the large group in attendance. Christmas boxes were made up and taken out to the widows and elderly of the ward. The East Ward Relief Society held their Christmas Social on December 15. The Family Health lesson was presented by Mrs. LaRane Arnoldson. Mrs. Mary Osborne, Mrs. Ruth Graham and Mrs. Lila Allred of Spring City performed a lovely program of music and narration with Mrs. Leslie Clark as accompanist. Mrs. Clark's two sons also sang several numbers. A light lunch was served to the group. The night session Relief Society was held Tuesday, December 17, at 8:15 p.m. The Social Relations lesson was given by Neva Jean Anderson and the Mother Education lesson given by Nora Cook. Mrs. Diane Rosenlof and three children, Blake, Angie, and Justine, of Mount Pleasant presented a musical program. lovely Refreshments were served. East Ward Cub Scouts and leaders went caroling on Their Thursday evening. beautiful singing brought Christmas cheer to many homes. Afterwards, they returned to the church where awards were given, a game played, and hot chocolate and cookies devoured. Mr. and Mrs. John (Lisa) Irons of Salt Lake City visited the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Irons. Don Ray Christensen is presently working on construction in Overton, Nevada. He will be home to spend Christmas with his family. Mrs. Selma Larson was hostess to her club on ' - Thursday, December 16. Her yard was ablaie with Christmas decorations arrived. OLSEN'S lights as her Present Ferns daughter, Mrs. David (Vickie) and Reynolds, brought her and her children, Paul, Tonya, Emily, Jacob and baby Jess back to Moroni to spend Christmas. The Reynolds family lives in Montana. On Friday night, David arrived to join the family, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kelson have returned to Moroni after having attended the wedding of a grandson in California. Mr. David Ray Kelson, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ray Kelson of Riverside, California, was married to Miss Susan Ann Youmans, daughter of Mrs. Marilyn E. Youmans of Chula Vista, California.
