She has been visiting in America for sometime. Last week she was in Southern Utah and son Canyonlands, something new to her. In Moroni she saw a flock of turkeys, ninety thousand something she had never seen before. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bradley had as visitors Saturday ternoon her cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Belliston of Salt Lake City. Saturday overnight guests were another cousin, Mr. and Mrs. James Ames and children Denice, Brenda and John from Fresno, California. They were taking their daughter to Provo to enroll at BYU. af- Jennie Brinton Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 30 in the Mt. Pleasant First Ward Chapel for Hamilton Jennie Jane Brinton, 85, of Mt. Pleasant who died on August 27, 1972 at her daughters home in Bountiful of natural causes. Mrs. Brinton was born on December 16, 1886 in Salt Lake City to James Campbell and Isabelle Hood Hill Hamilton. She married Wollerton Huffaker Brinton on October 8, 1914 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died on July 1, 1968. She was a teacher at the Roosevelt Elementary School in Salt Lake City. She served a mission for the LDS Church to California and the Western States. She was President of the Relief Society and the YWM1A. She was a member of the DUP and a temple worker. include son, Survivors daughters, Reed W., Salt Lake City; Mrs. G. Worth (Margaret) Bench, Fairview; Mrs. Royal (Beth) Allred, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Ed D. (Jane) both Salt Lake City; Melvin, Sugar City, Idaho; David, Palo Alto, California. A viewing was also held on Tuesday evening in Murray. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery. Mrs. Funeral services held for and Mrs. Christensen attended the wedding of their grandson Kevin Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Revis Christensen in Magna, Utah. His bride was the former DeLayne Mr. Clara H. Hansen Funeral services were held in the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel Saturday for Clara H. Hansen Jensen Anderson, 80 of Glenwood, Sevier County who died on August 24, 1972 of natural causes Heywood of Magna. Christensen, Vincent Morris Smith of Genola and John Hardy from Springville recently returned from a weeks vacation in the Northwest where they did some deep sea fishing. He visited with his daughter, Carol C. Price in Portland, Oregon, also. 11, Vanda Draper was hostess to the So Art Club on Thursday evening August. Present were Pearl Jensen, Eva Bailey, Reath Draper, Bessie Nielson, Merlene Christensen, Mary Morley. Handwork and visiting was enjoyed and a delicious luncheon was served. Reed Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Christensen spent two weeks in Seattle, Washington at the University taking a course in Banking. She was born on February 27, 1892 in Glenwood to Charles and Harriet Johnson Hansen. She married Hans Curtis Jensen and he died on March 23 1945. She married Peter Oliver Anderson on December 1, 1949. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Mrs. Maurine Cook, Fairview; Mrs. Alta Lindquist, Mrs. Teen . . . Dorothy Hold, Mrs. Ida Lee Anderson all of Salt Lake City; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grand- Mr. and Mrs'. A.A. Anderson have the nicest surprises.. .the latest one being a call from son Johnny, Provo, who likes to fish, and who has a cabin in Ill Strawberry. Thought he: bet Dad and Mother would like this. The thought brought him to Ftn. Green, and the three of them were on their way to Strawberry in short time. Lund, 86, a former resident of Spring City, died August 3, 1972. He was buried in California. He was the son of Merinus and Mary Jane Ashworth Lund. Pleasant on Highway 89. Mr. Peck was driving a suburban station wagon and pulling a house trailer. The trailer evidently hit a soft shoulder, overturned on the west side of the highway and exploded. The station wagon rolled to the east side and landed bottom up. The trailor was completely destroyed in the accident. The Peck vehicle was towed into Mt. Pleasant by Ted Lasson. When Mr. Lasson jacked up the vehicle, the jack gave way injuring Mr. Lasson. Mr. Lasson was confined to the Sanpete LDS hospital with three broken ribs and face injuries. He was released and is convalescing at his home in Ml. Pleasant. The accident was investigated by Gayle Rasmussen of the Utah Highway Patrol. REFORM Welfare in America is a mess!
