Show MORONI 1 REATH DRAPER Mr. and Mrs. Russel Bailey accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Bailey of Salt Lake City to Las Vegas, Nevada. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. George Russel in Henderson, Nevada and Boulder Dam, Lake Mead and other places of interest enroute, spending from Sunday June 18 to Friday the 23rd. Visitors for Sunday Bailey home were Mrs. Taylor, daughters Mary and Susan; Mr. and Mrs. at the Louise Louise Jimmy Taylor and children Brady and of Jamie Levan; Mrs. Pauline Rasmussen and daughter Janet, of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Dan L. Phillipi, Mrs. Edith Bennett and Mrs.' Mildred Bullock from Lakewood, California have spent the past month visiting their brother John Irons and sister Faye Draper. Mrs. Draper accompanied the California visitors to Southern Utah and toured through Zions, Bryce and Grand Canyons and all interesting places along the way for a week. 436-829- i 8 Mrs. Earldene Buchanen entertained family members at a picnic party at the home of Mrs. Jensen. The Baking Bakers Club held their 4th meeting at the home of teacher Kathy Irons on Friday, June 23. They made Milky Way Punch and Dreamy Shakes. Dorothy Ann Bailey is the other teacher. Those attending were Ruth Westenskow, Lana Stevens, Mindy Christensen, Lynelle Irons, Sylvia Green and JoAnn Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Little and Mrs. Vince Ross of Ephraim spent Fathers Day in Bountiful with Mr. and Mrs. Halver Ross and children. Mrs. Merlene Christensen entertained the So Art Club on Thursday evening at her home. A delightful evening of visiting and doing handwork was enjoyed and a delicious luncheon was served. Those present were Eva Bailey, Vanda Draper, Hazel Anderson, Thelma Sorensen, Reath Draper, Bessie Nielson, Pearl Jensen, Bardella Syme and Ila Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bradley just returned from a ten day trip to McGill, Nevada where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Blackham and to Portland, Oregon where they visited with a brother, Otis Bradley. They came home through Idaho and visited in Plymouth with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Petersen. Melba and Jensen e from Chester. Spafford Sumsion had as visitors Mrs. Edda Graham of Fairview and their son and family Dr. and Mrs. Ray Sumsion and children of Bountiful. They have also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Cloward. They are currently living in San Diego but plan to move to Snowflake Arizona in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Burnside and three children are visiting with their family Mr. and Mrs. Jack Irons. Mrs. Annie E. Nielsen has just returned from spending three weeks at the home of a daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clive (Glenda) Worthen and family at Ferron. While there granddaughter and Mrs. Roy children came Mrs. Nielsens and family, Mr. Benson and six for a visit with her. Sanders enjoyed spending Fathers Day in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sanders and family. While there, they attended church services with the Sanders family. At that time, the Taylorsville Ward was divided and a new 18th ward was added. Robert was sustained by ward members as a counselor in the new 18th Ward Bishopric. Wynelle Sanders gave the closing prayer in Jr. Sunday School and Wayne Sanders passed the Sacrament for the first time.
