Show Diane Prisbrey becomes bride of Craig Nielson, Ft. Green Diane Miss Prisbrey, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Clifford Prisbrey and Mrs. Dorothy Hamilton of St. George, became the bride of Craig Nielson, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Mont Nielson of Fountain Green, November 5. The young couple was married in the Washington Ward Chapel, with the Bishop of the ward performing the ceremony. In the evening the parents of the bride honored the couple at a Melissa Lund honored on 88th birthday Mrs. reception Recreation was on pleasantly surprised November 18 when a group of neighbors, friends and relatives from Moroni came to honor her on her 88th birthday anniversary. For her wedding, the new Mrs. Nielson chose a floor length gown of white chiffon velvet fashioned in the Romeo-Juliettstyle. The waist and long, puff sleeves were of lovely rose lace, with a dainty rose trim around and at the the neck, empire waist line. Her elbow-lengt- h veil of illusion fell from a crown of white velvet, with rose trim. The brides bouquet was fashioned of white roses surrounded by red carnations. The party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alten Brothersen where Mrs. Lund is making her home. e mid-sleev- She was born November 18, a daughter of 1883 in Moroni, John and Charlotte Shephere Bailey. She married Lewis Lund November 6, 1907 in Manti. Mr. Lund died several years ago. Mother of ten children, eight are still living. They are Glen Lund, Hayden, Colorado; Dell Lund, Miami, Florida; Mrs. Ada Hatch, Cliff Lund and Eddie B. Lund, all Moroni; Mrs. Florence Taffi, Herkimer, New York; Clair Lund, Ogden, and Mrs. Lois Brothersen, Mt. Pleasant. She has sixteen grandchildren and 28 Mr. and Mrs. Robert Downard Miss Syndergaard, Mr. Downard ficiated Mrs Snydergaard, mother of the bride, honored the couple at a reception following the nuptial rites For her wedding the young bride was lovely in a floor length model of white crushed velvet, and trimmed with pearl buttons. It had an empire waist and scoop neckline. Her hip length viel tricot was held to a tiara of of-sh- eer pearls and rhinestones.She carried a bouquet of white and orange mums with orange streamers. Attendants, Miss Milinda Thompson, maid of honor and Miss Diane Ruesch, bridesmaid, wore models in light peach and carried bouquest of mums. Mrs Snydergaard, mother of the bride, and Mrs. Downard, mother of the groom, wore dresses and orange crepe had corsages of white mums. Jim Downard of Orem, performed best man duties for his brother. Greeting at the door were Tony Downard, Ruth, Nevada, and Paul Downard, Spring City, also brothers of the bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, December 7, 1911. They were born in Pleasant View, Utah, Weber County. They came to live in Spring City in 1911. They are the parents of four living children, J. Bruce Ellis, Whittier, California, Mrs. Arthur (Ardith) Johnson, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. John (Betty) Adams, Provo, Utah; Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Graham, Spring City. There are 14 grand children and 7 great grandchildren. They have both been active in the church activities of Spring City. Mr. Ellis was bishop for 14 2 years. He served on a mission to the North Central States. Was on the stake High Council from 1943 to 1956. Was president of the M I A. Mrs. Ellis has worked in the ward Relief Society as counselor, class teacher, secretary and visiting teacher. Was a Sunday School teacher for 29 years. Primary teacher for 50 years. On November 20, an Open House to honor the bride was held at the home of the grooms parents, Mr. and Mrs Mont Nielson, in Fountain Green, with Mrs. Nielson as hostess. Mrs. Tom Johansen assisted with the gifts, and Mrs. Pharis Nielson assisted with the serving. The bride was attired in her lovely, white wedding dress, and Mrs. Nielson in her attractive red gown. The new Mr. and Mrs. Craig Nielson will make their home in Fountain Green.
