Kip Ned Allred, son of Ned and Joann Allred of Provo, was recently awarded his Eagle Scout Award at ceremonies held in Provo, March 1971. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Royal L. Allred of Spring City and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Salisbury, Monroe, Utah. He is 13 years of age and is a student at Farrer Junior High. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Beck, Clinton B. Black and children Lisa and Marshall of Sandy visited Saturday with Mrs. Olga Black. Home for the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hansen was Miss Marilyn Hansen from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hansen learned of the birth of their first granddaughter. A baby girl born Friday, April 30 to Dee and Linda Hansen Bullock of Ogden. The baby girl has a brother at home to welcome her. The baby girl of Jerry and Sherry Ann Hill Sterner was blessed Sunday in the sacrament services. She was given the name of Tracy Lyn Sterner.
