On Monday, Mrs. Morgans mother, Mrs. Sarah Justesen of Spring City, and the Gary Larsen family, along with several friends came with their birthday greetings. The bride is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Jackson former residents of Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Coombs attended church in the Granger 3rd Ward March 14, where they were happy to witness the sustaining of their son, Boyd, as the bishop of the new 23rd Ward. Tables were attractively decorated in a green and pink color scheme. The program consisted of the following numbers: Vocal trio sung by Renae Oldroyd, Linda Christensen, and Betty Nicholls, accompanied by Rita Allred; a history of the Fountain Green Relief Society since it was first organized in June 11, 1868 with Polly Ann Johnson as the first president. Since that time to the present, there have been fourteen presidents of the Relief Society organization in the Fountain Green Ward. This history was given by Gladys Winters.
