Rasmussen Mrs. Winnie returned home this week after a wonderful vacation trip to LaGunna Hills, California and the Hawaiian Islands. In Nelle Christensen. California Mrs. Rasmussen spent two weeks visiting with Mrs. M. L. Nelson. Nelson and Mrs. Mrs. Rasmussen traveled to the Islands where they enjoyed a g lovely two weeks sight-seein- and relaxing in this beautiful and different world. One of the highlights of their travels was a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center which is sponsored by the LDS Cliurch to provide emeployment for students who are converts from Tonga and other Pacific Islands who attend the Church College in Hawaii. This noted tourist attraction featured an outdoor show in the evening. The curtains for these shows are lighted sprays of water in many colors and are beautiful. Among other places they visited were the fabulous hotels on the Island of Hawaii, the sugar cane fields, the volcano area, and Pearl Harbor. They were very impressed with the warm and friendly people and the beautiful green Islands. They ret urned to Los Angeles on a 747 jet airliner. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ericksen, John, Jim, Danny, and baby Jennifer of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Erickson and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Rigby. Other visitors in Sunday at the Erickson home were Mr. and Mrs. Ferald Anderson and LuJean Nielsen of Ephraim and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Barton. The North and South Ward Primaries will hold Halloween parties in their respective wards on Friday afternoon. The children should plann to wear their costumes but no masks. The elementary students will be having a party in the afternoon on Friday and the highlight will be the annual parade downtown. Everyone is invited to come downtown about 2:30 p.m. and see the children who will be dressed in the latest Halloween styles. The amendment may relate to one subject, or any number of subjects, and may modify or repeal provisions in other articles of the Constitution if these provisions are germane to the subject matter of the article being revised or amended or being proposed as a new article.
