Coates, Moroni, became the bride of Tim Keisel in ceremonies performed September 27 in Moroni Stake House with James Swensen, bishop of Moroni West Ward, officiating. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Keisel of Manti. The young bride was lovely in a floor-lengt- h gown of taffeta, highlighted with lace trim at the neckline of the basque waist, and lace trimming the long pointed sleeves. Her waist length veil of nylon net was lace trimmed, and fastened to a crown of miniature pearls. Her brides bouquet was fashioned of yellow roses and lilies of the valley. Sharon Larson, sister of the bride, was matron of honor; Carla Coates, sister of the bride, Diane Coates, a niece, and Dana Robertson were the bridesmaids. They wore gowns of yellow taffeta and had bouquets of yellow rose buds, white baby mums and lily of the valley. Mrs. Coates, mother of the bride, wore a gold bonded knit of S. Crowther, noted 89th anniversary of several LDS books, musician, will be the guest speaker at the Fairview North Wurd Relief Society Opening Social Monday evening, September 6, at 7:30 in the ward cultural holl. "Relief Society, a Door to Knowledge, Sociability, Homemaking and Spirituality, will be the theme of the evenings activities. The theme will be introduced by past Relief Society presidencies. Following the introduction, dinner will be served to ward Relief Society members and specially invited guests. Mrs. Brunger, ward president, reports that everyone interested is invited to come and hear Mr. Crowther speak following the dinner. Mr. Crowther has a rich background of training and experience which qualifies him as an author of LDS Church books. He holds a bachelors degree from Brigham Young University in music education, having graduated with high honors in 1959. The following year he completed a master of arts de gree at BYU with an Old Testament major and a New Testament minor. His thesis was a definitive chronology of future events as prophesied in the scriptures and by LDS authorities. He has been an LDS seminary teacher and principal for four years in Utah and Idaho and has taught Old Testament classes for BYU Extension Di vision. He has lectured at BYU Education Week and has pursued other graduate classes at Utah State University. He has e and also filled both a a stake mission where he was branch and district president and misison secretary and edi tor. He has been an executive, teacher, stake board advisor, in church and teacher-traine- r auxiliary organizations. A family man, Mr. Crowther and Phillip A. Her family will honor her on Sunday the 12th with a family gathering at her home. She was born in Moroni October 13, 1880, a daughter of Rasmus Peter and Sena Petersen Christensen. She has resided in Moroni most of her life except for a few years spent in Sanford, Colorado. She married Niels Erastus Nielsen and he died January 30, 1921. She is the mother of ten living children, Edith Johnston, Stockton, Calif.; Helen Stratford, Toppenish, Wash.; Remelda Gibson, Tooele; Arthur Nielsen, McAmmon, Idaho; Rozina Olsen, Spring City; Verla Bohlin and Clinton Nielsen, Moroni; Elaine Huggins, Fountain Green; Glenda Wor-the- n, Ferron, and Flauris Riley, Los Angeles, California. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren number well over one hundred. Mrs. Nielsen has always had a beautiful yard fileld with flowers from early spring until frost time. She has a keen mind and still entertains her family with Danish songs and readings of many kinds. She has entertained with her readings on many programs. She is a member of the DUP, was a visiting teacher for over 50 years, has worked in the Primary and has done much temple work in the Manti LDS Temple. UUUiDU 1970 Caprice.
