They studied bicycle safety and rode their bicycles to the junction of Wales and Freedom road. After returning they had refreshments at the dairy queen. On April 29 they had a swimming party at the pool in Ephraim and refreshments later at the A and W. On April 27 their meeting was held at the home of RaNae Dyches. Prayer was by Leona Livingston and the pledge was by Lorele Blackham. They prepared shortcake and banana nut bread. The pageant presented the girls in formal, swim suit and talent competition. As her talent she gave a humorous reading. She was presented a trophy and also received a $250 scholarship to Mamselles Models in Salt Lake City. Pat is a senior at Granger High School.
