Boyd Blain of the ward bishopric announced the numbers. The ward choir presented the music directed by Mrs. Rose Schofield with Pamela Watson, organ accompanist. Robert Allred and Prayers, Milton Larsen; talks, Leslie Allred and Susan Donaldson of the ward MIA; vocal duet, Kenneth Madsen and Larry Nielsen; talks, Jerry Sorensen, Mrs. Thelma Madsen, Leroy Peterson, Glen Justesen. A panel discussion was conducted by Boyd Blain, Sandra Aiken, Barbara Hansen, Edith Olsen, David Allred, Stephen Strate, Dennis Madsen. A talk was l. given by Bishop Harold L. Lorell Hansen, student at BYU at Provo was home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hansen and family the past weekend. Mrs. Stroud accompanied her mother home for a days visit. Mr. and Mrs. Virgus Osborne visited Saturday afternoon in Nephi with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Osborne and children. Mrs. Edith Schofield was hostess Friday evening to Mrs. Lavon Allred, Mrs. Vurleen Simons, Mrs. Ireta Strate, Mrs. Mary Finell, Mrs. Grace All-re- d and Mrs. Athene Osborne. They observed the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Schofield, which was May 12. Miss Dorthy Aiken from Salt Lake City spent the past weekend with Mr .and Mrs. Archie Aiken and Sandra Aiken. Mrs. Yvonne Howell and small daughter, Lorraine, of Mantl, visited Monday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Vero Aiken. Bishop and Mrs. Larsen of Fairview visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Reid H. Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Max Blain visited Saturday in American Fork with Mr. and Mrs. David Hafen and family. Mrs. Max Blain spent Monday in Moroni with her mother, Mrs. Serena Ostler. Kelly Dye, student at the University of Utah was home the past weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mar Dye. Mi Aileen Larsen and Miss Kathleen iArsen, students at the USU at Logan, were home last weekend with Mrs. Etta Larsen and family. Weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mickel were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Mickel, Jimmie and Vicki Mickel and Mrs. Beverly Christensen of Salt Lake City. Miss Denies Nielsen of Provo was home several days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Nielsen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Donnell Crow-the- r and family of Granger visited during the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson and family. Mrs. Irene Aiken was hostess Wednesday evening to the Social Service Club members. Mrs. LaVee Draper was a special guest. Winning prizes at progressive rook were Mrs. Vurleen Simons, Mrs. Ireta Strate, Mrs. Rose Schofield and Mrs. LaVee Draper. The ward Primary officers On Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Alma Thomas visited in Provo at the Utah Valley Hospital with their brother and sister who are both .confined to the hospital with an illness. The Relief Society work meeting was held at the home of president Eunice Rees. Sarah Tuttle, home demonstration agent gave a demonstration on quick mixes. Wednesday the Birthday club met at the home of Nina Edmunds in Moroni. Present were Janet Thomas, Marie Thomas, Vivian Dye, Marvella Anderson of Wales, and Kate Christensen Florence Christensen and Lydia Carter of Moroni, also Liza Mae Shepherd. A hot lunch was served and the afternoon in-la- w spent visiting. On Saturday all Aaronic Priesthood boys of Wales ward joined the other boys of the stake at an outing. They met in Fountain Green at 7 a.m. for prayer then went to Hill Air Force Base for an air show. They went to Lagoon for lunch and sports and then to the state capitol building and to the temple grounds. They had dinner at a Salt Lake cafe to finish the day. Boys who went were Ivan Anderson, RusDavid Rees, sel Anderson, Frank Rees, Emory Dye, Jeffrey Lamb, Burke Rees, Les- ter Anderson. Bishop Newel Rees and Glade Lamb accompanied the boys. This same group of boys all participated in the program commemorating the priesthood on Sunday evening. Carolyn Rees also gave a talk and achievement awards were presented by Bishop Rees. Miss Marvella Anderson returned home from a visit in Salt Lake where she welcomed a new granddaughter. The parents are Hyrum and Lon Jean Anderson. The Andersons have two boys. Marie Rees, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newel Rees has been chosen as a speaker at the North Sanpete high school Thomas. While in the city they will stay at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mower. Visiting at the home of their mother, Thora Robertson, over this past Sunday were Gwen Young of Salt Lake City, Erda Vance, Tooele, Norma Vance, Magna, Roma Peel, Granger and Mr. and Mrs. Arden Robertson and family of Moroni. Rozetta Eggen left Thursday evening for Provo where she visited at the home of her mother, Annie Peterson, until Tuesday. She then left by bus for Oxford, Miss., to visit at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Eggen and family. On June 5 she will attend the graduation of her son from the university there. While at the home of her mother in Provo she attended an open house honoring Annie on her 90th birthday. She is a former Fountain Green resident. Games and refreshments were enjoyed at the Scott Cook home for Grace Tom Brown on her 13th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Rasmussen of Fillmore spent last Thursday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Rasmussen. The sheep shearing at Jericho is over now for another year. This is the last remaining central sheep shearing station in the USA. This camp is owned and operated by Eugene Syme. About 40,000 sheep were sheared there this year. The Fountain Green Primary is working on its May Day fun program which will be held the afternoon of the last day of school. They will wind the May Pole and plans call for all the children of the Primary group to take part in this affair. Ethel Williams, Primary president is in charge.
