Her veil of nylon lace and tulle was fastened to a crown of sequins, rhinestones and pearls made in the Mary Queen of Scotts style. Mrs. Annetta Wilkey, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Mrs. Ruth Adis, sister of the bridegroom was bridesmaid, and Sandra Green, a niece of the bride, was a flower girl. Jerry spent three weeks here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allie Christensen, after receiving his discharge from the U.S. Navy. S.H.2 Christensen had completed almost ten years of duty with the U. S. Navy traveling all over the South Pacific. He served aboard the destroyer USS Walke, as ships store record keeper.
