The marriage was later solemnized in Manti Temple. He was a rancher and farmer. Surviving are his widow, two sons and a daughter, David Leon Holman, Moroni; Ellis L. Holman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kenneth (Adella) Candland of Chester; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a brother, Merl M. Holman of Manassa, Colorado. Friends may call at the Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Friday evening and at the church in Fountain Green Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Fountain Green Cemetery. Edmond V. Orton, 70, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died of pneumonia May 16 in a Provo hospital. Funeral services and burial with military rites were held Monday in Salt Lake City. He was born June 3, 1892, in Fairview', a son of John W. and Helen Tucker Orton. He married Ethier Hansen December 29. 1920, in Mt. Pleasant. They weie later divorced.
