Show voters in North Sanpete School District approved the bond issue by G2 votes in the election held in the district Tuesday. The $000,000 bond issue will finance a school building and remodeling pro- gram. A total of 1336 votes were cast in the district with 699 voting for the bond issue and 637 Volume THE Sixty-nin- e Ml. Pleasant Fourth ward has planned a banquet Friday evening, May 1, according to Bishop Delmar Beck. Proceeds will go to their welfare fund. Mrs Joyce Lou ry is in charge of table decorations; Ray Jorgenticket sales and Mrs sen, Louise Jensen donations. iOc per copy tudents Rate High onfest Injured by Accidental Gunshot Myron Frandsen, .oil of Mrs. Iunna Eatinger Erandsen Smith, Salt Lake City, died early Monday morning in a Salt Lake hospital of a gunshot wound in the forehead sustained Sunday about 5 p.m. at the residence of his grandmother, Mis. C. H. Eatinger in Mt. Pleasant. The youth received emergency treatment at the Sanpete LDS Hospital before being rushd by ambulance to the Salt Lake hospital where the bullet was removed and where he died about 3 a.m. Monday. Myron was playing with Ernest Madsen, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Madsen in the loft of a barn on the Eatinger property and situated between the Eatinger and Madsen residences, when the injury occurred. He climbed down from the barn and walked to the back porch of the Eatinger home before collapsing. Investigating officers, Sheriff C. W. Jensen, Marshall Vaughn Barney and Bert Will-de- n of the highway patrol, report the shot was fired from a rifle from a distance of 275 to 300 feet and passed through a board in the bam before striking the child. Two teen-ag- e youths were questioned in connection with the shooting. Sanpete County Attorney Don V. Tibbs reported that results of the investigation showed the bullet was fired unintentionally and no charges would be brought against the youths Involved. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Smith, Myron and his sister, Charlyn Bynum, had come here Friday evening to spend the weekend with Mrs. Eatinger and the boys brother, Charles Bynum, a student at Wasatch Academy. April 2, Myron was born 1947, in Salt Lake City, a son of Andrew Jay and Donna Eatinger Frandsen. He attended the Hamilton school in Mt. Pleasant for several years and was a sixth grade student at the Sumner School in Salt Lake City at the time of his death.
