Dated NOTICE Notice of In compliance with Sate Drinking Water Act, Fillmore is City hereby notifying residents that the water samples submitted for analyses during the fourth quarter of 1980 indicated a total of 9 coliform bacteria in 6 samples. This is in excess of the Utah regulations and the law requires that the City publish in three consecutive issues of the newspaper a notice of any violations of the Act. This does not mean that the water is unsafe, but is only an indication that there may be a problem. The sample taken on January 5, 1981 has been given a "satisfactory rating. Fillmore Water Department will monitor the condition closely to insure that a serious problem does not exist in the water supply. The department asks that citizens be advised not to connect their sprinkling systems to both the pressurized irrigation system and the culinary water system as this may cause pollution of the drinking water.
